            Project Planner:  Anna Quenga.  Environmental Status:  Exempt per 15304. - Project Description:  Coastal Administrative Permit to allow the installation of a new agricultural well.  The property is located at Sombrero Court, Castroville (Assessor's Parcel Number 131‑151‑004‑000) North County Land Use Plan area, Coastal Zone.  Recommended Action:  Approve Project

 

2.         1:30PM - Colson Eric Richard TR ET AL - PLN100178

            Project Planner:  Anna Quenga.  Environmental Status:  Exempt per 15301(e).  Project Description:  Combined Development Permit consisting of 1) a Coastal Administrative Permit and Design Approval to allow a 660 square foot addition to an existing 3,844 square foot single family dwelling, the demolition of a 720 square foot three‑car carport, the construction of a new 480 square foot two‑car garage, 2,146 square feet of new uncovered patios with an outdoor BBQ area, 167 linear feet of retaining walls, and a fountain; and 2) a Coastal Development Permit to allow the removal of one 17‑inch diameter Monterey cypress.  Grading consists of approximately 120 cubic yards of cut and fill.  The property is located at 1507 Viscaino Road, Pebble Beach (Assessor's Parcel Number 008‑212‑019‑000), Del Monte Forest Land Use Plan area, Coastal zone.  Recommended Action:  Approve Project

 

3.         1:30PM - Green Scott & Green Diane - PLN100348

            Project Planner:  Anna Quenga.  Environmental Status:  Exempt.  Project Description:  CONTINUED FROM DECEMBER 9, 2010.  Coastal Administrative Permit and Design Approval to allow the demolition of an existing 2,207 single family dwelling and 400 square foot garage and the construction of a new 4,803 square foot two‑story single family residence with a 389 square foot attached one‑car garage, a 982 square foot attached three‑car garage, a 192 square foot cabana with and attached trellis, and a 66 square foot garden shed.   Materials and colors to consist of: white stucco for the exterior walls, mallard green for doors and window trim, and "Redlands Old Hacienda" clay roofing tile.  The project includes a 6‑foot high perimeter fence with electric gates and grading of approximately 600 cubic yards of cut and 500 cubic yards of fill.  The property is located at 25613 Shafter Way, Carmel (Assessor's Parcel Number 009‑221‑004‑000), Carmel Land Use Plan area, Coastal Zone.  Recommended Action:  Approve Project

 

4.         1:40PM - Fash Victoria R TR - PLN100168

            Project Planner:  Liz Gonzales.  Environmental Status:  Exempt.  Project Description:  Combined Development Permit to allow: 1) Coastal Administrative Permit for an addition over 10% of existing floor area for the construction of a 689 square foot studio, exercise room, office, and bathroom with 197 square foot patio to an existing 3,655 square foot single family dwelling with an attached 496 square foot garage and Design Approval (colors and materials to match existing); and grading consisting of approximately 145 cubic yards of cut; 2) Coastal Development Permit for development within 50 feet of a coastal bluff; and 3) Coastal Administrative Permit for development on a man‑made slope exceeding 30%.  The property is located at 36492 Highway 1, Monterey (Assessor's Parcel Number 243‑251‑009‑000), Big Sur Land Use Plan area, Coastal Zone.  Recommended Action:  Approve Project

The Recommended Action indicates the staff recommendation at the time the agenda was prepared.  That recommendation does not limit the Zoning Administrator’s alternative actions on any matter before it.
