            Project Planner:  Valerie Negrete.  Environmental Status:  Addendum to previously adopted Mitigation Negative Declaration.  Project Description:  Coastal Development Permit and Design Approval to allow development within an area of a positive archaeological site consisting of a small garden renovation including: removing the existing lawn, paving, steps, walls, and granite driveway and replacing with permeable stone pavers and the construction of a new 6‑foot fence, barbecue, fireplace, garden walls and minor grading of approximately 10 cubic yards of cut.  The property is located at 2498 17th Avenue, Carmel (Assessor's Parcel Number 009‑471‑006‑000), Carmel Area Land Use Plan, Coastal Zone.  Recommended Action:  Approve Project

The Recommended Action indicates the staff recommendation at the time the agenda was prepared.  That recommendation does not limit the Zoning Administrator’s alternative actions on any matter before it.
