            Project Planner:  Daniel Lister.  Environmental Status:  Exempt.  Project Description:  CONTINUED FROM MARCH 29, 2012.  Administrative Permit and Design Approval to allow the replacement of four existing antennas on 10-foot stub mounted poles with four new 15-foot stub mounted poles with four (4) antennas [two (2) new antennas and two (2) existing antennas] and replace the existing 10 foot fence with a 15 foot fence.  The property is located at 681 Monterey Salinas Highway, Salinas (Assessor's Parcel Number 161-251-012-000), Toro Area Plan.  Recommended Action:  Approve Project

 

2.         1:30PM - Martin Wesley A/Cindy A Martin TRS - PLN110437

            Project Planner:  Daniel Lister.  Environmental Status:  Exempt.  Project Description:  CONTINUED FROM MARCH 29, 2012.  Use Permit to allow the accessory dwelling unit to exceed accessory structure height limit of 15 feet to 23 feet and a Design Approval for the illegal conversion of a portion of an existing 1,824 square foot feed barn into a 1,190 square foot two‑story accessory dwelling unit (936 square feet second floor, 254 square foot first floor), with a 72 square foot mechanical room, a 410 square foot attached garage, and a new 480 square foot garage addition and a new 324 square foot deck.  The permit also includes an 18 foot high illegally built pump‑house which will be lowered to meet the 15 foot height regulation. The property is located at 490 Carmel Valley Road, Carmel Valley (Assessor's Parcel Number 189‑011‑048‑000), Carmel Valley Master Plan.  Recommended Action:  Approve Project

 

3.         1:30PM – Monterey County Youth Camp - PLN120219

            Project Planner:  Elizabeth Gonzales.  Environmental Status:  Exempt.  Project Description:  Use Permit to allow two separate special events:  1) Police Activities League "PAL" 510/10k running event scheduled for April 15, 2012; and 2) "Hoof Trek" equestrian event scheduled for three consecutive days beginning May 18 through May 20, 2012 located within the County's Fort Ord Youth Camp property.  The property is located at Watkins Gate and West Camp Streets.  (A portion of Assessor's Parcel Number 031‑161‑002‑000 (COE Parcel Nos. L20.2.2 & L20.2.3.1 [Travel Camp Parcels]), (adjacent to and westerly of East Garrison subdivision at Fort Ord), Reservation Road Planning Area, Fort Ord Master Plan.  Recommended Action:  Approve Project.

The Recommended Action indicates the staff recommendation at the time the agenda was prepared.  That recommendation does not limit the Zoning Administrator’s alternative actions on any matter before it.
