Project Description: Combined Development Permit consisting of: 1) A Coastal
Administrative Permit and Design Approval to allow the construction of
accessory structures to an existing 7,421 square foot three‑story single
family dwelling including removal of existing 483 square foot deck/terrace with
spa to be replaced at the same location with a 1,148 square foot deck/terrace
including a 36 square foot fire pit, infinity‑edge‑type spa,
outdoor barbecue, pizza oven and counter areas.
Project to also include a new guest parking area adjacent to the
existing circular driveway turnaround, and interior and exterior remodel. Exterior changes to the single family
dwelling to include new aluminum framed exterior doors and windows, new stucco
finished chimney with copper cap, and a new standing seam metal roof above the
new storage area; stucco and paint to match existing. Project also includes the
removal of 3,213 square feet of impervious driveway and walkway area, to be
replaced with permeable pavers, and the addition of 1,870 square feet of
impervious materials. Combined
impervious surface and structural coverage (within the Pescadero Watershed) of
10,092 square feet to be reduced to 8,749 square feet; and 2) a Coastal
Development Permit for development within 750 feet of a known archaeological
