            Project Planner:  Cynthia Bettencourt.  Environmental Status:  Exempt.  Project Description:  Design Approval to allow the construction of a new 2,454 square foot one‑story single family  dwelling with a 602 square foot attached garage, a 240 square foot covered entry porch, and a 160 square foot covered rear porch.  Materials and colors: exterior TruWood siding (Dunn Edwards Serpentine/DE5502), TruWood trim (Dunn Edwards Tan Plan/DE6137), roofing (shakewood shingles).  The property is located at 68 Paseo De Vaqueros, Salinas (Assessor's Parcel Number 161‑081‑009‑000), Toro Area Plan.  Recommended Action:  Approve Project

 

2.         1:40PM: - Harker Dennis - PLN110034

            Project Planner:  Elizabeth Gonzales.  Environmental Status:  Exempt.  Project Description:  Combined Development Permit consisting of: 1) a Coastal Administrative Permit to allow a remodel of an existing 1,974 square foot single family dwelling to include enclosing an existing 953 square foot attached deck, and the addition of new 960 square foot second story with 383 square feet of rear decks; Design Approval (colors and materials of tan stucco body, green trim on windows and doors and clay tile roofing materials similar to existing residence); and 2) a Coastal Development Permit for the removal of two Coast Live Oak trees (21" and 20" inches in diameter).  The property is located at 3399 17 Mile Drive, Pebble Beach (Assessor's Parcel Number 008‑392‑005‑000), Del Monte Forest Land Use Plan area, Coastal zone.  Recommended Action:  Approve Project

 

3.         1:50PM - Chopin Enterprises LP - PLN100636

            Project Planner:  Delinda Robinson.  Environmental Status:  Exempt.  Project Description:  Coastal Administrative Permit and Design Approval to allow the construction of a 2,331 square foot two‑story single family dwelling with a 354 square foot one‑car garage.  Colors and materials consist of natural stained wood siding, wood shingled roof with a skylight, wood‑framed doors and windows (off‑white color), stone‑clad chimney, copper gutters, and blue stone pavers.  The property is located at 24479 San Juan Road, Carmel (Assessor's Parcel Number 009‑012‑013‑000) north of the intersection of Pescadero Road and San Juan Road, Carmel Land Use Plan, Coastal Zone.  Recommended Action:  Approve Project

The Recommended Action indicates the staff recommendation at the time the agenda was prepared.  That recommendation does not limit the Zoning Administrator’s alternative actions on any matter before it.
