1.         1:30PM - Collins Frances/Stillman Katherine Anne - PLN120191

            Project Planner:  Lucy Bernal.  Environmental Status:  Exempt.  Project Description:  Administrative Permit to allow for the demolition of an existing single family dwelling of 1,685 square feet and an existing garage of 487 square feet and the new construction of a 10,870 square foot single family dwelling with a 604 square foot garage, a 3,094 square foot lower level attached garage/storage/mechanical room, 149 square feet elevator lobby/stairs, retaining walls, new septic system with leachfields, landscaping and lighting plan, the removal of two Monterey Pines (8 and 25 inches in diameter), grading (approximately 2,831 cubic yards of cut and 221 cubic yards of fill); and Design Approval.  The property is located at 509 Loma Alta Road, Carmel (Assessor's Parcel Number 103‑161‑005‑000), Greater Monterey Peninsula Area Plan.  Recommended Action:  Approve Project

 

2.         1:35PM - Harkins Road Building Limited Partnership - PLN120312

            Project Planner:  Steve Mason.  Environmental Status:  Exempt.  Project Description:  Combined Development Permit consisting of: 1) A Use Permit for the partial demolition (15,907 square feet) and reconstruction (15,043 square feet) of structures at an existing agricultural processing plant and the implementation of vehicular circulation improvements; and 2) a Variance for building site coverage (5.5% proposed/5% allowed, a net reduction form the existing 5.7%); and 3) a Variance for structure height (40' proposed/35' allowed) to accommodate agricultural processing equipment.  Grading to consist of approximately 14,450cubic yards of cut and 3000 cubic yards of fill. The property is located at 33155 Gloria Road, Gonzales (Assessor's Parcel Number 223‑042‑022‑000), Central Salinas Valley Area Plan.  Recommended Action:  Approve Project

 

3.         1:40PM - Aresso LLC - PLN110651

            Project Planner:  Steve Mason.  Environmental Status:  Exempt.  Project Description:  Administrative Permit to allow the construction of a 2,820 square foot two‑story single family dwelling with an attached 792 square foot three‑car garage and a detached 600 square foot guest house within an area designated as "Visually Sensitive."  Project to include the removal of one 16" Monterey Pine tree.  Grading to consist of approximately 780 cubic yards of cut and 870 cubic yards of fill. The 7.32‑acre parcel is located at 1250 Olmsted Road, Monterey, immediately south of Foothill Elementary School (Assessor's Parcel Number 259‑131‑010‑000), Greater Monterey Peninsula Area Plan.  Recommended Action:  Approve Project

The Recommended Action indicates the staff recommendation at the time the agenda was prepared.  That recommendation does not limit the Zoning Administrator’s alternative actions on any matter before it.
